Barn Charm Tuesday

This barn sits in a field near where I live. It's time is coming to an end soon to make way for an outdoor mall so sad. I do love those round windows at the top of the barn. Maybe if I time it right I could scarf them up when they tear it down. But that is probably wishful thinking.

I used Nancy's fog texture over at Rural Journal. I 'm linking up with Tricia over @ Bluff Area Daily for Barn Charm Tuesday.

This is a first for me--seeing round windows in a barn! I hope you get to snatch them!

It looks like a water color. Too bad they can't incorporate it into the design. :( Definitely ask them if you can salvage the windows!

I don't like it when a barn gets torn down, but if something can be saved from the old thing, then it'll be remember! Get ahold of the owner now about the round windows, he might save them for you ahead of time so they don't break when it's torn down!

Thanks for linking up this old beauty to this week's Barn Charm =)

Another barn lost for a shopping mall. So sad to see that history go.

Happy Valentine's Day.

What a great barn. It's sad that it is being torn down. I love the texture you used. I've never used texture on my photos. I'm going to have to learn how to do that.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I looked at some of your other photos and love them. I am your newest follower.

This is beautiful. So sad that they are tearing it down for a mall. (sigh) I hope someone will at least take the wood and reuse it somehow. At least that's some consolation. But you have this wonderful photo as a memory. I wonder what the inside looks like. Oh, it would be nice to have more photos of this. Love it.

Those two little round windows on the front of this very large barn are irresistible. So sad that such a well-kept barn is being torn down. Love the fog texture that you applied to this beautiful photo!

I love old barns and wish the walls could talk. Oh, the things they have seen, I'm sure. I have never seen one with round windows like that. I love it. I hope you can save them!

Those windows would be a treasure! I hope you do get them. So sad, like we NEED another stupid mall. Your treatment is perfect!

Seriously? It's being torn down to make way for a mall? I guess one can't stand in the way of 'progress' huh? Sigh.

Great shot. Good that you've recorded it.
